Question: I'm interested in having a second hair transplant procedure. For this, is a new area harvested, thus creating a new scar, or is the incision made over the existing scar? Answer: For second procedures, I believe in keeping a single donor site scar. Thus, I always remove the original donor site scar and include it within the second procedure's new strip.
